These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and ICJL Developments LLC governing your use of the Dae app. By creating an account or using Dae, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Dae.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use Dae. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Create only one account for yourself, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. The service
Dae helps you discover places, match on date ideas, build plans, and share with a community. Place information (such as hours, ratings, and availability) comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate — always confirm details, reservations, and current conditions yourself before relying on them.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create (reviews, gems, memories, plans, photos). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within Dae for the purpose of operating the service. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it.
5. Acceptable use — zero tolerance
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Dae. You agree not to post or do any of the following:
Content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, sexually exploitative, or that depicts or endangers minors.
Fake, misleading, or dangerous location submissions, or content intended to lure or harm others.
Spam, scams, impersonation, or infringement of others' rights.
Attempts to scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or circumvent the security of the service.
Violations may result in immediate content removal and account termination.
6. Reporting, moderation, and enforcement
You can report content or users from within the app. We review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users promptly, which may include removing content, restricting features, or terminating accounts. Hidden-gem submissions are reviewed by us before they become publicly visible. We are not obligated to host any content and may remove it at our discretion.
7. Safety
Dae helps you plan outings and, if you choose, connect with others. We do not conduct background checks on users or guarantee the safety of any place or person. You are responsible for your own safety — use good judgment, meet in public when appropriate, and follow local laws.
8. Premium and purchases
Dae may offer optional paid features ("Premium"). Purchases and subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are governed by their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can manage or cancel in your store account settings. Prices may change with notice, and refunds are handled according to the applicable store's policies.
9. Third-party services
Dae links to and integrates third-party services (for example, reservation and experience partners, and mapping/place data). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or services, and your use of them is at your own risk.
10. Disclaimers
Dae is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ICJL Developments LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) Dae, your interactions with other users, or any places you visit.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ICJL Developments LLC from claims and expenses arising out of your content, your use of Dae, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using Dae and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or to protect the service or other users.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
15. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Dae for its intended purpose. Where required by the app store, the standard end-user license agreement of that store also applies.
